10 11 Con Forme d’Arte Paolo Piacenti ha voluto sotto- lineare, in un gioco di duplici significati, un pos- sibile legame tra i suoi formaggi e la pittura, ri- proponendo l’antica relazione tra arte figurativa e cibo. Nel contesto di un’adeguata valorizzazione dei prodotti di grande qualità, anche Paolo ha un suo ruolo: ricerca con amore e pazienza tradizionali sapori presso piccoli produttori riuscendo a farci “emozionare” davanti ai suoi formaggi. Ma per Paolo non è sufficiente individuare e af- finare questi prodotti; lui ha voluto evidenziare queste eccellenze collegando il cibo, il formaggio nel caso specifico, all’arte. Così è nata l’idea di “vestire” le forme di pecorino con etichette d’artista, ideando, anni fa, il proget- to Forme d’Arte , a cui hanno aderito importanti artisti e, di conseguenza, la gamma dei pecorini si è impreziosita con meravigliose etichette che ormai contraddistinguono questo prodotto. Di questo progetto fanno parte, ad oggi, dieci ar- tisti. Ma questo a Paolo non bastava più, voleva anda- re oltre e voleva qualcosa di più, e già due anni fa mi presentò questo progetto a cui io, fin da su- bito, entusiasticamente, ho aderito affinché arte, gusto, ricerca e creatività si fondessero in un’uni- ca grande realtà. Da qui l’idea di mettere a disposizione di alcuni “storici” artisti di Forme d’Arte , più altri maestri, da me invitati, sagome di legno bifacciali a forma di pecora — a grandezza reale — sulle quali espri- mere la propria creatività e il proprio estro. Il tutto condito con un pizzico di follia — passa- temi il termine — e stravaganza, ingrediente fon- damentale per emozionare. E io questo ambisco fare… Ma la cosa affascinante, meravigliosa, enigmati- ca, è che questa follia è ampiamente condivisa da parte di tutti gli artisti che hanno aderito a questo progetto. Noi tutti abbiamo bisogno di raccontare; abbia- mo bisogno di esprimere in qualche modo i no- stri sentimenti più interiori per vivere. Siamo tutti artisti del romanzo della nostra vita, di cui noi, attraverso gli strumenti con i quali sappiamo de- streggiarci meglio, siamo i protagonisti. Gli artisti, attraverso un supporto pittorico del tutto particolare, si raccontano, inventano, narra- no storie, costruiscono la loro versione della re- altà che ci circonda attraverso immagini, colori, toni. Sheep Art: a different sheep Sheep Art: a different sheep Foto Roberto Bastianoni With Forme d’Arte Paolo Piacenti wanted to em- phasize, in a game of double meanings, a pos- sible link between his cheeses and painting, re-proposing the ancient relationship between figurative art and food. In the context of an adequate exploitation of high quality products, Paolo also plays a role: re- search with love and patience, traditional flavors with small producers succeeding in making us feel “excite” in front of his cheeses. But for Paolo it is not enough to identify and re- fine these products; he wanted to highlight these excellences by linking food, cheese in the specific case, to art. This is how the idea of “dressing” the forms of pecorino with artist labels was born, designing, years ago, the Forme d’Arte project, to which important artists have joined and, consequently, the pecorino’s range has been enhanced by won- derful labels that now distinguish this product. Ten artists are part of this project. This was not enough anymore for Paolo, he wanted to go over and wanted something more, and two years ago he presented me this project to which I immediately enthusiastically joined, so that art, taste, research and creativity merge into a only great reality. From here the idea of making available to some “historical” artists of Forme d’Arte , with other masters, invited by me, sheep-shaped bifacial wooden silhouette — in real size — on which to express their creativity and their own inspiration. All seasoned with a pinch of madness — pass me the term — and extravagance, a key ingredient to excite. And I want to do this... But the fascinating, wonderful, enigmatic thing is that this madness is widely shared by all the art- ists who have shared this project. We all need to tell; we need to somehow express our innermost feelings to live. We are all artists of the novel of our life, of which we are the pro- tagonists through the tools with which we can manage better. The artists, through a very specific pictorial sup- port, tell about themselves, invent, tell stories, build their version of the reality that surrounds us through images, colors, tones. Each one with his own style, transmits us feelings that he has lived, emotions that he is experienc- ing and that he would like to live and, through imagination, reconstructs and gives a semblance of meaning to the chaos of existence.
